If you have been arrested for and charged with an extreme DUI, a super extreme DUI or an aggravated DUI in Central Arizona — contact me super extreme or felony aggravated DUI defense.
Consequences of an Extreme DUI Conviction
A conviction for extreme DUI (blood alcohol level .15 or higher) carries a sentence that can range from 30 days to six months in jail. In addition to jail, you can expect your fine to be approximately $3,000. You will also have to attend and pay for mandatory alcohol classes and install an interlock device on your car for one year. Under the new DUI laws passed January 1, 2012 much of the jail time can be reduced and work release is available for 12 hours a day as well as home detention if the judge orders it.
The Super Extreme DUI Enhancement
The Arizona DUI law includes the super extreme DUI. If a person's blood alcohol is a .20 or higher the jail time is 45 days to 6 months, with fines of about $3500, jail costs, mandatory alcohol classes and an interlock device on your vehicle for. A super extreme second DUI offense within 7 years is 180 days in jail. The judge may order work release which can be for 6 days per week with release for 12 hours per day for work, and home detention if the judge orders it.
Extreme DUI Defense: Free Initial Consultation
I do not charge a fee for the initial consultation or advice given for any DUI cases. This is true regardless of whether we talk about it over the phone or face-to-face in my office. I think it is also important for you to know that while most lawyers charge significantly more if a case goes to trial I almost never do.
