If you have been arrested for and charged with an extreme DUI, a super extreme DUI or an aggravated DUI in Central Arizona — contact me for experienced extreme DUI defense.
Consequences of an Extreme DUI Conviction
A conviction for extreme DUI (blood alcohol level .15 or higher) carries a sentence that can range from 30 days to six months in jail. Of that, the judge can suspend 20 days of jail, leaving a minimum of 10 days. In addition to jail, you can expect your fine to be approximately $3,000. You will also have to attend and pay for mandatory alcohol classes and install an interlock device on your car for one year.
The Super Extreme DUI Enhancement
In September of 2007, Arizona DUI law was amended to include the super extreme DUI enhancement. If your blood alcohol content is measured at .20 or higher, a 45-day mandatory sentence and an interlock device for 18 months may be imposed in addition to fines, court costs and mandatory alcohol classes.
Extreme DUI Defense: Free Initial Consultation
I do not charge a fee for the initial consultation or advice given regarding extreme DUI defense. This is true regardless of whether we talk about it over the phone or face-to-face in my office. I think it is also important for you to know that while most lawyers charge significantly more if a case goes to trial I almost never do.
